Dave served for almost 10 years in the British Army before leaving to take up a role in General Practice Management in Bury, Greater Manchester. He was involved in the selection and successful transition to the EMIS clinical system for his Practice in 2022 and became a local champion for the system, thereafter, developing resources and supporting other Practices and individuals in developing effective ways of using the system to its fullest. Dave now manages his PCN in a development capacity; he continues to champion the use of EMIS locally, promoting efficiency and consistency, and hopes to influence and promote the EMIS system and its uses in a federated capacity locally and nationally.
