We are looking for EMIS NUG Clinical Committee Members

Wed, 17/04/2024 - 11:06 -- admin

Are you a clinician using EMIS who could use your experience to help other EMIS users across the UK?

If so we would love to hear from you.

THE EMIS National User Group (NUG) is looking for clinicians to join its committee.

The NUG, which is a non-profit organisation is particularly keen to hear from clinicians who can use their experience of using EMIS to influence change and improvements at a national level and be the clinical voice for clinicians using EMIS across the UK.

The EMIS NUG works as the bridge between general practice and EMIS and supports EMIS users to get the best out of their system, by providing training, educational material, and a range of other benefits.

It has more than a thousand member practices and individuals, representing and supporting GPs, nurses, and practice managers across the UK.

Any practice, primary care organisation or individual that uses the EMIS system can become a member.

EMIS NUG operates separately from EMIS but both organisations enjoy a co-operative relationship.

As a clinical committee member, you will attend general meetings and get involved in sub-committees. These include education, our annual conference and watchdog, which liaise with EMIS over issues related to support and development problems.

If you’d like to join the EMIS NUG committee, we’d love to hear from you. You can get in touch with us by emailing Hannah.nicholas3@nhs.net.
