East Midlands Conference Centre (EMCC)

The vibrant city of Nottingham is located right in the heart of England. Nottingham's compact city centre, pedestrianised streets and tram system make it easy to get around.  This versatile city is steeped in history and has both rural retreats and modern facilities having been home to the legendary Robin Hood, famous writer D H Lawrence, football manager Brian Clough and world renowned fashion designer Paul Smith. Enjoy amazing site seeing like Nottingham Castle, Galleries of Justice or a pleasant walk round Sherwood Forest.

There are over 30 direct trains that travel between London, St Pancras and Nottingham on a daily basis, making it perfectly accessible by rail. Nottingham is also ideally located close to all major road links and is only 15 miles away from East Midlands Airport. When arriving in the city public transport is widely available.

Set in 330 acres of the University of Nottingham's landscaped parkland, the East Midlands Conference Centre (EMCC) is a unique venue and purpose built which enables it to adapt to events of all shapes and sizes.  The setting creates a peaceful working environment yet is only 2 miles from Nottingham City Centre and close to major road, rail and air links. Catering facilities are provided by an award-winning in-house team with a wide range of menu choices and locally-sourced ingredients where possible.

Conference Joining Instructions

Delegate joining instructions will be sent out via email to the primary contact used during registration, two weeks prior to the conference. The email will confirm the times and locations for registration and also provide you with details on how to pick up your conference pack. 

Catering

Breakfast is included for those guests staying in the Orchard Hotel, and served in Bramleys Restaurant from 07.00 until 10.00.  All other refreshments including buffet lunch will be served in the Conference Centre. The gala dinner on Thursday evening will be held in the Conference Centre in the Banqueting Suite, with the pre-dinner drinks reception held on the Concourse.  Dietary requirements will be catered for, please ensure that you provide details when you register.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the Orchard Hotel and East Midland Conference Centre.
