What are LUG's

Local User Groups (LUGs) are set up in a town or locality such as a Primary Care Trust (PCT) and focus on the implementation of IT in the local area. There are currently over 60 LUG’s operational in the UK.LUGs provide a platform for users to share ideas and expertise, provide training or work together as a body to negotiate with EMIS or other local health bodies.If you are already a LUG coordinator, would like to set up a LUG or are interested in finding out more information please download the following advice pack.
