    Karen King

    Karen King is a Health Visitor and Clinical Lead for IT in North Staffordshire Community Trust , she has been an EMIS user since the early 1990s and joined the NUG committee in 2000. Karen represents Nurses and Therapists in her role on the committee; she is currently working with the EMIS Development Team on the community record.Karen is also involved in clinical aspects of the Summary Care Record Design Group and PRIMIS National Customer Representative Group and is about to take up a part time role with West Midlands SHA as Clinical Engagement Lead for CfH.Relaxation time is spent supporting Sale Rugby team and running.

     

     
  • Sara Hornibrook

    Sara Hornibrook

    Dr Sara Hornibrook has been a full time partner at Leith Mount Surgery in Edinburgh for the last 16 years. She volunteered to sit on the NUG committee because she believes it's important that EMIS users in Scotland have a representative!

     

    Sara has used EMIS for approximately 14 years, initially LV and now PCS. She is delighted to be one of three practices in Edinburgh (all EMIS practices) who can offer on line booking of routine GP appointments to patients. Sara started up the local user group in Edinburgh, which sadly rarely meets now.

     

     She represents the practice for the North East Edinburgh Practice Reps Group and is a member of the North East Edinburgh Prescribing Task Group.

     

     
     
  • Mark Caulfield

    Mark Caulfield

    Mark is Head of Information at Tower Hamlets PCT and EMIS Deployment Programme Manager; projects currently within the programme are EMIS Web community development, including the development of commissioning and clinical data sets, data pens for use within the community, interoperability with acute and local authority systems, the Map of Medicine – (Web integration phase 1) and EMIS PCS Dental.

    Outside interests – plays watched and books discussed with friends and family and walking in the company of the same.
